Maruti Suzuki has come up with a car that is no less than a mini-dynamite. The car comes in compact dimensions and explodes a loads of features. The Maruti Suzuki A-Star has also made international presence. It was showcased in London and also in Paris during the Motor Show. The car has already been a great hit in Europe and it will be sold as the Suzuki Alto across the European continent. However, the car would continue to be sold as A-Star in the Indian market. In the past Maruti Suzuki has produced some great cars like Wagon-R, Alto and now A-Star will join these great fleet of cars.
The A-Star employs a special KB-Series engine that has been developed under an investment plan of Rs 1200 crore and has been developed after an umpteen amount of research & development, validation and testing. A-Star is the first car that has been integrated with this special engine. However, the K-Series would be further used in all other upcoming cars of Maruti Suzuki.

The car promises host advantages such as high fuel efficiency of 19Kmpl and offers a superb pickup. The car has a very advanced “Total Effective Control Technology” (TECT) which ensures a risk free and a safe drive. The car has all the necessary features that makes it suitable car for the urban youth. It has Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD (break assist), speed sensitive power steering, tachometer, Body colored bumpers, Wheel covers, Security System, child proof rear locks, driver adjustable seats. The car also produced great performance.
It churns out an output of 67Ps at the rate of 6700rpm and 90 Nm at the rate of 3200rpm. Overall the car has a solid built and exudes a peppy feeling. People often perceive it as cute car and it is being preferred by the younger audience along with the ladies.
