Maruti Suzuki A-Star’s USP is undoubtedly its next-generation K-series engine. This exciting new technology is equipped to provide much better power and performance to the car, in this case A-Star, while protecting the environment at the same time.

Car manufacturers and slowly but surely waking up to the problems that our environment is facing today, especially with the growing problems of global warming and rising deforestation. The KB engine is the most advanced in the car manufacturer’s stable of high-performance engines. This lightweight engine has better heat deception and uses composite material with a low internal friction. The higher fuel injection and compact features only add to its advantages. In fact, the K-series engines have become such an instant hit among the customers that they will be fitted in all the existing models of cars over the next 3-5 years. These engines have a CO2 emission of 109 gm/km which is even lesser than the current European new car average carbon emissions of 145.9 gm/km. Apart from being the most advanced green car engines in their class, the K-series or KB engines deliver greater fuel-efficiency. The only factor is that the full benefits of the next-generation engine would be realized only after the quality of fuel available in the country is also scaled up and reach the heights of the global standards.
