Two prominent car manufacturers in India are hoping to make their dominance felt in the small hatchback cars category. Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai both have a huge hold over the Indian markets. Both of these car manufacturers are known to make cars which are designed for Indian conditions and cater to the masses.
In order to gain a firmer foothold on the small segment cars market, Maruti Suzuki has launched an exciting new car in the market. Maruti Suzuki A-Star is a car with sheer brilliance. It’s a cute and trendy looking car which comes equipped with a latest technology engine and fine engineering. The car has stunning interiors and exteriors and is designed to provide complete comfort to the passengers.
Hyundai Getz, on the other hand, is a car which does not have too much riding on its looks, which are quite average to say the least. However, this doesn’t take credit from the car which has other redeeming features. The front grille of the car has been given a completely new look. In fact, the chrome strip of the grille enhances the sporty look of its exteriors. The car is equipped with features such as Adjustable Rear Seat Inclination, Full Door Armrest, Utility Tray, Parcel Shelf, Low Fuel Warning Lamp, to name a few. Besides all this, the car is quite comfortable to ride.
From a driver’s point of view, Maruti A-Star is a very comfortable car to drive. The instrument cluster is pretty big and all the other meters are easily readable. An exciting new feature that comes in this car is a first of its kind dash mounted tachometer. The car comes equipped with some other interesting features such as a digital trip meter, Odometer, fuel gauge, an integrated music system with AUX-in facility, etc.
It would be quite interesting to find out how well other features such as safety and engine have been taken care of in these two cars. Maruti A-Star’s engine is a first of its kind K-series engine which is both fuel efficient and environment friendly, making A-Star quite the exciting new kid on the block.
