Maruti Suzuki A-Star : T For Technology

The world is changing and how! All the dynamics and equations of things have been undergoing serious changes last few decades. What one only dreamt of before is fast changing into reality for a lot of things. Just look at the way people travel and communicate today. Mobile has part as natural a part of our lives as air or water. Cars are no longer the luxuries once deemed to be. The standard of life is improving for the best and people are more technologically advanced than ever.

India is fast changing into a modern country with people increasingly using modern amenities and luxuries in life. Cars have become a routine element in daily lives and most middle class families own a car. It is safe to say that most middle class Indian families are devout users of at least one small car. Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), is the Indian arm of Japan based Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) and are the largest small-car manufacturing company in the country. Maruti’s reliability and network is hard to duplicate.

As part of their ongoing effort to give the consumers the best in the automobile industry, Maruti has introduced the people of the country to cars such as 800, Zen, Swift, WagonR and most recently the A-Star, among a long fleet of affordable and advanced small cars.

Maruti Suzuki A-Star was introduced to the Indian customers in the year 2008 at the Delhi Auto Expo and the first view itself drew a lot of sighs and aah’s and ooh’s from the onlookers. And why not? After all, A-Star is a global concept car which has been designed keeping in mind European car norms as well as safety and environment standards.

Maruti A-Star, with its next generation K-series engine, aerodynamic body and stylish interiors and exteriors is one car which is creating a storm among the young Indian car buyers. Not very often do we find a car which, inspite of being designed and modeled around European tastes, meets the sensibilities and needs of the common Indian customer.

  1. I like the look of Maruti Aster. I did not check out the interior but might be great because it is from Maruti. But in recent months there (Online Traffic School) are some errors cropping into there market released cars like Ritz and Desire where there was recalls of few thousands of cars.
