Suzuki A-Star is built on an entirely new platform and offers Penta Drive technology for smooth driving experience. The company has further mounted A-Star with an extraordinary KB Series engine which has a displacement of 998cc and it runs on petrol. The KB10 has 3 cylinders at its heart along with 12 valves. It delivers a maximum power of 67Ps and a flat torque of 90Nm.
Maruti A-Star is superb in terms of mileage as it delivers fuel efficiency of 19Kmpl. The fuel efficiency, along with a new KB10 engine and the advanced features are the biggest pulling factor of the car. A-Star has a tachometer which is for the first time used in this segment of car, Dual Airbags which is an advanced safety features that protects the passengers at the front in case of collision, ABS and EBD (with break assist) – this is an advanced Anti Braking System which prevents skidding during the hard braking times. The other salient features of the car are as Standard Air Conditioner, Driver Adjustable Seats, and Speed Sensitive Power Steering etc.
