Maruti Suzuki A-Star has become a new rage in the hatchback segment. The car was launched to target the urban youth, however with time A-Star has evolved as a perfect family car. Maruti Suzuki launched A-Star in the year 2008 at the Auto Expo, New Delhi. The A-Star was appreciated for its unique futuristic design along with thoughtful engineering. The car has bold looks coupled with aerodynamic styling. The aerodynamic styling helps in cutting the air current which in turn helps in efficient handling and safe driving. The car has a wide sport grille which provides good engine ventilation.
The Maruti A-Star offers a comfortable and a smooth driving experience since it is easy to handle. The car comes with speed sensitive power steering and offers Penta drive technology. The car is equipped with features like ABS and EBD(with break assist) which helps in preventing skidding and also prevents the wheel from locking up. Further, the A-Star comes with regular and advanced features such as Dual Airbags, Security System, Tachometer, Standard Air-Conditioner and Body coloured bumpers etc.
Suzuki A-Star engages the driver like no other car. A-Star offers the very best, in terms of engine, new technology, mileage and comfort. Moreover, the car also equipped with an all new state of art KB10 engine which churns out an output of 68Ps at the rate of 6700rpm and a flat torque of 90Nm at the rate of 3200rpm. The car offers better manoeuvrability and road handling since the car has a low centre of gravity and very wide track width. Further, the car has a shorter wheelbase, high ground clearance and a tight turning radius. All these helps the car in taking quicker turns even on the narrow and steeper roads. Maruti A-Star comes in three variant options namely Lxi, Vxi, Zxi and Vxi AT.
