Maruti Suzuki launched A-Star keeping in mind the younger audience, that comes in the age group of 25-30 years. A-Star is also popularly recognized as the car for the youth. From its design to its engineering, the car has everything in it that can woo the youngsters. It is an unshakable and an unstoppable car that defines the today’s generation attitude. The car makes no compromises when it comes to features and fuel efficiency. It offers a mileage of 19Kmpl on the highway and 16 Kmpl in the slow moving urban traffic. The car also produces an excellent power and a flat torque. Maruti Suzuki A-Star also equipped with the next generation K-Series engine. The engine has a displacement of 998cc with 3 cylinders at its heart and 12 valves.

The Dual Airbags prevents the passengers in case of collision and ABS with EBD (brake assist) prevents the wheel from locking up and helps in avoiding skidding. The tachometer provides the revolutions per minute while driver adjustable seats ensure a comfortable ride for the driver. The car also provides ample legroom and shoulder to the driver and the occupants. The seating capacity of the car is good and can accommodate five people with ease. The car is available in four variants namely Vxi, Lxi, Zxi and Vxi AT.
