Maruti A-Star, Maruti Suzuki’s exciting new A-segment car comes in three manual variants: LXi, VXi,ZXi and one automatic. The ZXi version is the top end model of the manual variants. This high end model comes equipped with a whole range of fabulous features such as dual tone interiors, front electric windows, power steering, console box, tachometer, fabric seats and rear parcel shelf. In terms of fuel efficiency, the car gives a maximum average of over 19, which is just superb for a car of this segment. This high end model also comes equipped with hoardes of safety features like ABS with EBD and airbags.
The newest variant, which is the Maruti A-Star Automatic, is probably the star variant of A-Star’s fleet. There isn’t too much choice available in terms of automatic cars available in the Indian car market. It is intended for the growing number of medium to big city individuals who are enamored by the automatic cars which are so readily available in the Western markets.
Maruti A-Star is powered by Maruti Suzuki’s 998cc gasoline next-generation KB series engine which is equipped with the modern A-shift technology. An individual can experience an awesome 360 degree driving experience with four speed automatic transmission. This comes handy when maneuvering through the city’s traffic, especially when one doesn’t have to bother about the gear shifts.
This latest variant has a fuel efficiency of 17kmpl and also comes equipped with Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) design structure and ABS to ensure total safety for the passengers.
